Gift Card Terms and Conditions
The LCBO Gift Card Terms and Conditions are incorporated into LCBO’s Website Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy posted on www.lcbo.com, as may be amended from time-to-time (the “LCBO Terms and Conditions”). The purchase or use of an LCBO or VINTAGES gift card (each, a “Gift Card”) constitutes acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the LCBO Terms and Conditions (including these Gift Card Terms and Conditions).
No Refunds, Exchanges or Cancellations
Gift Cards are non-refundable, non-cancellable, cannot be exchanged for cash, or used to purchase other Gift Cards.
Activation and Balance
To check the balance of a gift card, please use the online “balance checker”. If you have problems activating your Gift Card, please return it to the LCBO retail location where you purchased it.
Gift cards are not reloadable and Gift Card balances cannot be combined onto one (1) card. Gift Cards do not have an expiry date and no inactivity fees will be charged.
Redemption and Use
LCBO and VINTAGES Gift Cards may be used to pay for purchases of LCBO and VINTAGES products at LCBO retail locations. Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for online purchases at LCBO.com or Vintages Shop Online. Gift Cards have no value until they are purchased and/or activated.
The Gift Card holder must be nineteen (19) years of age or older in order to use it at an LCBO retail location.
In order to use and redeem the Gift Card, the gift card holder must present either (i) a physical Gift Card; or (ii) the original email from the LCBO containing the electronic gift card. The LCBO reserves the right to deny the use or redemption of a Gift Card that does not meet the above criteria including, but not limited to: (i) screenshots or screen captures of electronic gift cards, (ii) photographs of electronic gift cards, or (iii) photocopies of physical gift cards.
Qualifying purchases will be deducted from the Gift Card until its value is reduced to $0.00.
Lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards will not be replaced.
It is strictly forbidden to resell or use Gift Cards for unauthorized advertising, marketing, contests or promotional purposes.
No Warranty
Gift cards are not credit cards or debit cards, and they do not offer any implied guarantees. The LCBO makes no warranties, express or implied, with respect to Gift Cards, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In the event that a Gift Card is unusable, your sole remedy, and the sole responsibility of the LCBO, will be to have the Gift Card replaced with another Gift Card in an amount equal to the remaining balance of the unusable Gift Card.
