Redemption

Q. Where can I use my Hazelton Hotel Gift Card?
A. Hazelton Hotel Gift Cards can only be used at The Hazelton Hotel, 118 Yorkville Avenue, Toronto ON M5R 1C2.

Q. What can a Hazelton Gift Card be used for?
A. The Gift Cards can be used for hotel stays, our Silver Screening Room (SSR) spa treatments and/or retail products at the Spa by Valmont. Please contact the hotel directly about any queries regarding your gift card prior to your visit or stay.

Q. Do I have to be staying at the hotel to use my Gift Card?
A. No, Gift Cards can be used to pay for the Silver Screening Room (SSR), spa services and retail products even if you are not a guest at the property.

Q. Does the entire value of the Gift Card have to be redeemed at once?
A. No, the Gift Card may be used multiple times until the entire value has been redeemed.

Q. Will I receive cash back if I do not spend the entire value of the Gift Card?
A. Hazelton Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.

Q. What if the total bill exceeds the value of my Gift Card?
A. If your bill exceeds the amount of your Gift Card, you will be required to pay the remaining amount with another form of payment such as credit card, debit card, e-transfer, cash, or any other form of payment. (Cheques are not accepted).

Q. Can I redeem more than one Gift Card in a single transaction?
A. Yes, you may use multiple Gift Cards to pay for stays, services and purchases.

Q. How do I present a Hazelton Gift Card to be used at The Hazelton Hotel?
A. The email or purchase receipt containing the Gift Card number will need to be presented at the time of transaction. This may be a physical printout or an image on an electronic device.

Q. Can I use a Gift Card to guarantee room reservations?
A. No, gift cards cannot be used to guarantee a room reservation. A valid credit card authorization form is required.

Q. In what denominations are Gift Cards available?
A. Any denomination between $100 - $2,000 CAD.

Q. Can I purchase more than 1 Gift Card at a time?
A. Yes, at 
 https://cws.givex.com/cws4.0/hazeltonhotelyou may purchase gift cards valued up to a total of $2,000 CAD per person/per credit card within a 3-month period. Please note the maximum value a card may have is $2,000 CAD. If you would like to purchase additional gift cards, please contact the hotel directly.

Q. In which currencies are Hazelton Gift Cards available for purchase?
A. Hazelton Gift Cards are available to purchase in Canadian dollars (CAD) only.

Q. How long will it take to receive my Gift Card?
A. If you purchased an online gift card, you will be receiving an email confirmation within 30 mins of your transaction. If you purchased a physical gift card via phone or email, you will have to pick up your gift card from The Hazelton Hotel. The physical gift card can be couriered to you at an additional cost.  

Q. Will I receive an email confirming the order?
A. Yes, you will receive an email confirming your order on the email entered during purchase.

Q: I am not being able to locate my Gift Card/email confirmation in my inbox?

A: Some virus scanner or 3rd party anti-spam tools integrate with email applications like Outlook.  Your emails services may have this anti-spam tool.  Please check your spam or junk email folder to see if your Gift Cards were sent there by your email.  We recommend that in order to avoid such issues in the future, you may want to list our email address as DO NOT BLOCK. If you have any queries, please call the hotel on 416-963-6300 or email reservations@thehazeltonhotel.com

Q. How do I cancel my Gift Card purchase?
A. Once purchased, the Hazelton Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Q. Where can I purchase Hazelton Retail Items?
A. Hazelton Retail Items are available for purchase online at https://cws.givex.com/cws4.0/hazeltonhotel/

Q. How do I purchase items once I am on the website?
A. Once you have found the item you would like to purchase, you will have to create an account on the website in order to purchase the item.
To do so, you must fill out a registration form. You will then have personal access codes in the form of an email address/password combination.

Q. What do I do if I cannot remember my username and password?

Q. In what currencies are Hazelton Retail items available for purchase?
A. All Hazelton Retail items are available to purchase in Canadian dollars (CAD) only and exclude taxes. The
HST will be calculated on the total order at the time of checkout.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept on the website?
A.
Credit cards (VISA, MasterCard and AMEX) are the only accepted method of payment.

Q. How will I know that my order has been placed?
A.
Once you have placed your order a confirmation email of your order summary will be sent to the email address on your profile.

Q. I would like to make changes to my order, how will I do this?

If you would like to make changes to your order, please contact us as quickly as possible by email at spa@thehazeltonhotel.com or call us at 416-963-6300.

Q. After I placed my order, my order was cancelled. Why did this happen?
A.
Our system may cancel your order for a variety of reasons, such as: Item unavailable, payment information cannot be processed, cancellation at customer request. In such cases, you will be notified of the problem by email.

Q. When I opened my order, I noticed it was damaged, what do I do?
A. If you received a damaged item please notify us immediately by email
spa@thehazeltonhotel.com or call us at 416-963-6300. In order to return damaged items, you must return them physically to the Hazelton Hotel within 7 days of receiving the product and the refund will be processed in person.

Q. How would I return an item?

A. Once an item has been picked up. The sale of this item is final and non-refundable. Items may only be returned if the product was damaged and or the product did not work as per its intended use. In this case you will have to notify us immediately after you opened the product and found the damage.

Q. Can I purchase more than 1 retail gift item?

A. You may purchase retail items valued up to a total of $2,000 CAD per person/per credit card within a 3-month period. If you would like to purchase additional retail items, please contact the hotel directly at spa@thehazeltonhotel.com

 

Pick Up

Q. Can my product be shipped to me?
A. Currently we do not offer shipping services for our Retail items and therefore all retail items purchased will have to be picked up in person from The Hazelton Hotel.

Q. After placing my order how soon can I come to pick it up?
A. Once your order is ready for pick up an email will be sent to the email address on your profile within 48 hours confirming that your item is ready for pick up.
